So, since we last visited The Fashion Show, Andrew/The Panty Christ said bye-bye for creating a look that was too boring and the designers had to create looks for the booking agents of New York Model Management, which James Paul described as “Jesus having to work with Satan.” Because nothing is more demonic than a woman who is not a size 0.

In the end, the winning dress was: Black. What does that say for non-size-0 women?

Ronson on “The Fashion Show”

Contemporary designer Charlotte Ronson will be the guest judge on week 6 of “The Fashion Show”. Ronson has her namesake line which boasts flirty dresses, cute underwear and stylish wedges, and also an affordable line for department store JC Penney. Ronson is young, but she’s been in the fashion game for quite a few years and in conjunction to week 5’s challenge, she designs for the real woman at decent price points.

If you’ve been watching, you know that Reco has become the Diva Extraordinaire. He thinks he is far above all the others in talent and creativity, and doesn’t mind letting them all know. Truthfully, he is amazingly talented and I love his work, but he’s not making any friends among the designers…

For the first time in the main challenge, the designers were on their own, not working on teams. It was obvious that they were all thrilled to be able to do things on their own.

The fourth episode of “The Fashion Show” on Bravo focused on shoes and how fashion can be expressed by what you wear on your feet.

Laura Brown from Harper Bazaar magazine tells the remaining contestants they will be doing a special mini-challenge. Elizabeth Olsen from OlsenHaus explains how they will use eco-friendly materials to make a stylish shoe. The main competition in this episode was actually pretty cool. They based an outfit on a shoe from Bergdorf Goodman.

Ever had the perfect pair of shoes but didn’t have an outfit to match? This week on “The Fashion Show”, airing Thursday, May 28 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo, shoes really are a girl’s best friends.

In the Harper’s Bazaar mini-challenge, the designers must first create a new print for Olsenhaus pure vegan shoes in an eco-friendly challenge. They’ll need to design the perfect outfit to go with killer heels.

The drama is growing on “The Fashion Show.” And yeah, I get it, watching drama is kind of fun, but I really hope this isn’t the focus of the show. We’re only three episodes in and we can already see this is a catty bunch, so I hope that doesn’t upstage (or outshine) the designs that make it down the runway. Tonight the drama continues with Daniella being ticked that Andrew used her concept to win the outerwear challenge, and it looks like he continues to play copycat by mimicking Anna’s pleating. I mean, come on…what, did she INVENT pleats?!

Last week, the judges decided they would send Laura home and after Johnny showed his true colors, he promised the judges that he would change his attitude. Johnny strikes me as a bit of a diva (or divo, if you will), so I don’t see this happening, but only time can tell.

This week’s episode kicks off with Reco telling us he’s working with three team members that can’t execute well, and he has a point. The designers meet with Isaac and Kelly and are told to get back in their teams (again?!).

Week 3 was all about outerwear and Andrew’s super fab rain coat. The designers definitely pushed the envelope for this challenge and it was a good thing since designer Normal Kamali was the guest judge. Kamali offered insightful criticism for the designers, but we’ll see if they put what she mentioned into play for future challenges.

We’re about to have episode 3 of “The Fashion Show” air tonight and there’s already been plenty of drama between designers. Some are better than others, and overall Reco is my favorite. I think his craftsmanship makes him a serious contender for the finale, and he’s aggressive without being too annoying (see: Merlin and Daniella). Who is your favorite designer so far?
