Bryan Fuller Admits “Heroes” Needed Fixing
Posted - 1:36 pm on April 2, 2009 by Brian in SF Universe
There’s a pretty candid interview with producer/writer Bryan Fuller in which he talks about where he feels “Heroes” went awry. Among the highlights: he felt the show pushed character aside for plot, and that Season 2 was just too filled with techno-babble.
Fuller said one of his primary concerns when he got the first few scripts [...]

Posted - 1:37 pm on March 26, 2009 by Brian in SF Universe
For the second time in three episodes, NBC’s struggling drama “Heroes” fell to an all-time ratings low. Only 6.5 million people tuned into Monday’s episode. Those are the same kind of numbers that got “Jericho” booted from CBS’ lineup, but NBC brass have continually said they are sticking by the troubled show.
In happier times, there [...]

Milo Ventimiglia (Jess Mariano on Gilmore Girls) is rocking out Heroes Chapter 4: Fugitives. Like Milo said in a recent interview, Heroes has gotten back to some of its roots and a meaner, more grounded good vs evil plotline has emerged. It’s much easier to follow and easier to root for the ‘good guys’. It’s [...]

I am excited about John Glover’s appearance at “Heroes” as Sylar’s dad (ep3.19)!
Glover had been a pivotal actor in Smallville, where he starred as Lionel Luthor until the character was killed off in season 7. Lionel was one of those characters that I Smallville fans really really love to hate, second only to his son [...]

“Heroes” continued the chase for fugitives and it’s interesting how events turn out for some of the characters. The heroes have been getting help from someone named “Rebel” who has access to information that keep them in the loop of government activities. Nathan’s operations at Building 26 also get a visit from the Homeland Security: [...]

Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg) prophetically drew that Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka) is going to stop a wedding in India. How Hiro can get there is the big question, but he thinks it will help him get his powers back.
It was Ando, not Hiro, who saved a beautiful Indian girl Anna from being married to [...]

The heroes survive the plane crash and everyone is scrambling for their lives as the military go after them. The second episode takes its cue from the premiere – the action is quickened and the tension builds up as the players on each side get in the game of hunter and prey. Nathan Petrelli takes [...]

Milo Ventimiglia candidly talked about the new volume of “Heroes”, and he had plenty to say, including reviews of the first episode, about casts leaving and characters dying and how the powers-that-be changed Peter’s role.

The airplane carrying people with post-human abilities has crashed in some mountainous area. From the last episode we know several people are on that plane – Claire Bennet, HRG, Peter Petrelli, Mohinder Suresh, Tracy Strauss, Hiro Nakamura and Matt Parkman. Now the government steps up effort to target them and there is no time to [...]
