Dexter and Rita are out to dinner at a nice restaurant with Syl and Miguel. The Prados tell Dex and Rita they have a surprise: They’ve gotten the chef to cater the wedding. While outwardly acting chummy with Miguel, Dex thinks about how to get rid of him.

Dexter is basking in the afterglow of his shared kill with Miguel. His reverie is interrupted when Sly shows up at Rita’s door, saying Miguel didn’t come home last night and used Dexter as an alibi. Dex says they were together till about midnight. Syl freaks out, convinced that Miguel’s having an affair.
